Ozly guide
eSIM Installation made easy
Install before you fly, then turn on Data Roaming when you're heading to the airport or once you land. Ozly sends the QR instantly, so you can stash it on your phone at home.
Before you start
- Open the Ozly QR email on a laptop or spare phone so your travel phone can scan it.
- Stay on Wi-Fi. The download takes seconds when you're on a solid connection.
- The QR code works once, so install calmly at home.
- Don't delete the Ozly eSIM after install - removing it means buying another QR.
- Turn Data Roaming on the day you fly or right after landing. Keep it off at home so your main SIM keeps serving calls.
Three quick checks
Do these first. Everything else becomes autopilot after that.
Open the Ozly email
Use a laptop or spare phone to open the "Ozly eSIM ready" email so the QR code is ready to scan.
Add eSIM in Settings
On your travel phone, go to Settings > Mobile/Network and tap Add eSIM (or Add Data Plan).
Scan and wait
Scan the QR, follow the prompts, and rename the plan "Ozly" so you can spot it quickly later.
Choose your phone
Each tab keeps the steps simple. Swap the toggle to match your device.
- 01
Open Settings > Mobile Data
Connect to Wi-Fi, open your iPhone, and head to Settings > Mobile Data (Cellular).
- 02
Tap Add eSIM
Choose "Add eSIM" or "Add Data Plan". If you see "Use QR code", tap it. Have the Ozly QR email open on another screen.
- 03
Scan the Ozly QR
Point the camera box at the QR code. Wait a few seconds while the new plan appears.
- 04
Tap Continue / Add Data Plan
The phone downloads the profile automatically. Hit Continue (or Add) when asked.
- 05
Label the plan
Give it a name like "Ozly Travel". Keep your Primary line as the default for calls/iMessage unless you truly want to switch.
- 06
Turn on Data Roaming the day you fly
Before boarding or once you land, go to Settings > Mobile Data > your Ozly plan > enable Data Roaming. Keep Mobile Data set to Ozly.
If you turn roaming on too early, iPhone may activate right away. Switch it on when you're ready for travel.

Check that it's active
Make sure your Ozly plan shows at least one signal bar, and go to Settings > your Ozly line > Data Roaming > ON. That's it - if both are lit, you're cleared to travel.
